More than 500 independent bridges and grand bridges have been completed by the company with a wide range of bridge types, like simply supported girder bridge, continuous girder bridge, arch bridge, cable-stayed bridge, suspension bridge, composite structure and so on. The design projects include Zhengzhou Yellow River Road Bridge on National Road G107, Kaifeng Yellow River Road Bridge on Provincial Road S213, Sanmenxia Yellow River Road Bridge on National Road G209, Dongming Yellow River Road Bridge on National Road G106, Zhengzhou Yellow River Bridge on Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway, Luoyang Yellow River Bridge on Taiyuan-Macau Expressway, Kaifeng Yellow River Bridge on Daqing-Guangzhou Expressway, Jiaozuo Yellow River Road Bridge, Xiaolangdi Yellow River Road Bridge, Sunkou Yellow River Road Bridge, Juancheng Yellow River Road Bridge, etc. Among them, Xugou Grand Bridge with a 220m main span is the deck arch bridge with the longest span in Henan. Kaifeng Yellow River Bridge with a 140m main span on Daqing-Guangzhou Expressway is the first seven-tower eight-span multi-span continuous prestressed concrete partial cable-stayed bridge in China. The Zhengzhou Yellow River Road Bridge on National Road G107 adopted large diameter bored piles and wedge-type prestressed anchor for the first time in our country. The main bridge of Sanmenxia Yellow River Road Bridge firstly puts high grade concrete C60 to use in the nation. Besides, Wei River Grand Bridge on Daqing-Guangzhou Expressway is the first expressway bridge with corrugated steel webs around China, and Qinshui Road Bridge constructed in Xinmi is the first no back stayed partial cable-stayed bridge with corrugated steel webs in the country.
After the approval of Henan Province Development and Reform Commission, Henan Bridge Safety Techniques Research Center was established. The research center conducts specific researches on grand and special bridge design and optimization, design of steel structure bridges and composite structure bridges, construction monitoring of bridges with high piers and large spans as well as special structures, bridge test, health monitoring and assessment techniques, bridge security risk assessment techniques, disaster-preventing and damage-reducing techniques, bridge clear-guaranteed techniques under emergencies, and new bridge structure development. The center aims to make it become a national bridge security guarantee techniques research center, and an incubator of high-level talents on bridge security guarantee.
